Mermaid!

Aimee got this outfit from "Santa", at the moment she is really into mermaids due to H20 on tv! I love this paper and didn't want to cover it up, couldn't figure out how to cut or tear it, so I printed a photo of Aimee cut is out, added stickles to, and some flowers, the writing didn't come out as clear as I hoped, so I will add it to the back of the page!

I think I will be adding to this page, as I don't really like it anymore!

High School Musical

Aimee has been HSM crazy for the last few years, but I put off getting her an outfit as I thought she would grow out of it. But Chloe wanted to get this outfit for her birthday, as you can see she loved it!! I have tried to remember how I used to decorate books when I was at school and how I signed my name to others! All the songs from the 3 movies are wrote down along with all the cast members!

A Letter To Santa

Aimee has been poorly this Christmas, we were supposed to go to a theme park that we go every Christmas Eve, but she wasn't up to it. So we dashed out to a local garden center that had a Christmas grotto. Aimee was quite taken with this Santa and especially so when he opened her letter and read it there and then! I scanned the letter before we left, phew!!!

A Day in the Woods

I love this photo of Aimee and Steve, it was taken while we were out walking in Willingham woods! I kept the layout simple as I wanted to let the photo do the talking! I have used the paper, ribbon and brad technique that Tracey used on her blog here!

Princess Aimee

I had great hopes for this layout, but the colours of the dress made my head spin when I was picking out papers for it! They were either too rich and heavy, or just looked gaudy!!! So in the end I went with this fairy paper! I wanted to create a dreamy, floaty and wishful page, not too serious page, I think it is!This Princess Belle dress is Aimee's favourite, she got it in 2006 and I think it has been worn to over 20 different parties, discos and fancy dresses!!! Any time an invite comes for a dress up party, it's "Mummy I am going to wear my Belle dress" at least I can say we got our monies worth out of it, and hasn't been worn just once or twice and then discarded for the next new one!!! Aimee has about 4 dresses in her collection, she prefers things that she can actually play with and use her imagination more, which I must admit I do prefer!!!

Anyways, I have used a whole packet of Basic Grey White Heart Swish rub-ons, once I started I couldn't stop, lol!!!

I have also gave my new Prima Journaling Stamps a try, I have used the circle journaling tag, and the swirls off of the corner stamps around the edge of the photo.

I have to say thanks to my good friend Tracey for helping me out (Ya KWIM hon, thanks so much, worked perfect).

I also went a little Stickles mad, (What's new, lol). On the original paper, the swirls going across the page, the clouds were all that were glittered!!! But I stickled the Fairy dress, shoes, crown, wings and wand!!! The row of flowers along the bottom didn't escape either!!!! Probably enter it into a bling challenge!

I used my trusty white Sakura Glaze pen to write the journaling! It reads "Aimee this Princess Belle dress is your favourite. Anytime you go to a dress up party this is the one you want to wear".

Aimee's Layouts

Over the mid term Aimee completed 3 layouts, these are all done in 8x8! I don't help Aimee, all I do is put the words in the right order for her to glue down! I think at 4 years old her pages ROCK!!!

I have to try so hard not to butt in and try and take over as you can see she has a style all of her own, and when she has enough of creating she says "That's it mum, I am going to play with my toys now".

These are the layouts she completed this mid term!







She only wanted to do one page, the last time she had a go, and this is her first page!!!

Hopefully she will come to me and ask when she can do a page, as she did this mid term, while she was watching me make mine!!!!
