My Mums Card

This is the card that I made mum for mother's day!!!

Tracey
has got some of the Magnolia range in her shop now, mmmh guess I am going to be collecting these now too, lol and yes I did buy the Magnolia key too, and yes the sentiment is a peel off, lol!

Just a simple gate fold card

Close up of Tilda and Lilacs, oh and the Key!

I would like to wish all the wonderful mums out there a Happy Mother's Day!

June's card

I made this one for Steve's mum, June

I have put distress faded jeans Stickles on the edges of the flower petals, first time using the distress stickles, I find them a little harder to direct where I want the bling to go compared to Stickles, but I am sure to get the hang of it, lol

I have used Melinda Hugging Heart (Whiff of Joy) for this image.

Down on the Farm .......

Rand Farm we went there today with the Extended Schools!!! What a fantastic day! This has to be one of the better farms that we have been to, and the day was just fantastic! Even though I am suffering yet again with more flu! The girls had a fantastic time, lots of babies to be seen, lots of animals to be petted and lots of PLAY!!!! Aimee even met up with some children that she had been in nursery with! And all the mums got a free plant. There was a huge choice to choose from, I picked a delicate pink and mauve Orchid, will take a pic when I get a nice pot for it! We decided not to bring a picnic but to eat at the tea rooms, which was very yummy!!!

So warning this is a very long post, and remember I have only put a few photos in for you to see, so you can imagine what my photo folder is like, lol!!!!!

Babies, babies and even more babies!

I think this guy looks like Babe, but then again all piglets do, lol

Feeding time!

This horse is HUGE, she is a Suffolk Mare and there are only 200 breeding mares left in England, they were once very common on farms.

Just love the look on Aimee's face.

A natural farmer.

There was also a huge indoor play area, but the girls only stayed about 10mins as the day was too nice and they wanted to play outside!

This was so funny, its kinda like a see saw, so Aimee wasn't expecting it to go down, lol

Not quite long enough in the legs yet.

Queen of the Castle, Chloe has been afraid of heights for so long, but she went on a trip with her school a few weeks ago for a week, they had them up zip wires, climbing rocks, climbing timber poles, etc, so I think its fixed her fear of heights!

Aimee's favourite!

We also went on a tractor ride

Paper Envelope Baby Book

Well you have heard of the paper bag book, I have created a Paper Envelope book!!!! lol This is for a colleague at work, whose daughter has recently given birth to a baby girl and wanted something different to give to the other set of Grandparents.

Again inspiration was found on Tracey's blog Running with Scissors
Thanks Tracey soo much for letting me raid your blog!!!!

I used the A4 size of brown envelopes that I bought in Asda, and whole load of supplies that I bought in my LSS, too many to list, but if anyone does want to know what product I used on a page, I will try to find out!!! I am going to show photos from the front to the back and one of the ribbons on the side. Sorry for all the different lighting in the photos I am playing with my light tent and want to see the different light effects I get. So for your viewing pleasure .... I hope ... here is my book ....

Baby Book

As mentioned in the post before a colleague recently became a Grandmother, she has been a fantastic help to me settling into the school and I can go to her and ask her anything and she always helps me out! So I made her this baby book as a gift to her from me.

Lots of inspiration for this project came from Tracey's blog, Running with Scissors, thanks honey!!!

She had given me some photos for the project that I was doing for her to give to the other set of grandparents, I didn't put any photos into that, instead I have put them into her book, I have blurred out the faces as I forgot to ask permission! Most of the pages in the book are matching as it was easier to do it this way.

This photo was taken just before she went into labour and Anne remembered me staying about the hand heart, so she made them do it, and was glad afterwards that she did!
