I saw the little book that Tracey made for her mum while she was celebrating her birthday in hospital and thought what a cute idea, so ......
I used some cardboard from the back of paper packs and cut heart shapes from it (I wasn't going to use flowers like Tracey has as there would of been way too much cutting out to do). I then used papers to cover the hear shapes, used some flowers, crystals, lace and inks!!! I punched two holes on the side to thread some ribbon through to keep the pages together.
Once I had the papers on I used sandpaper and distressed all the edges, this also made the cardboard more neater.
The journaling blocks were printed on cardstock, pearl, inked edges and glued down.
