Paint, song title and sketch challenges!

My good friend Tracey Jackson hosted a sketch challenge over on the Paper Paradise forum!!!

I am happy to admit that I have nearly 95% lifted her layout completely!!! LOL

Photos, paper, colour and some of the embellishments been different!

I knew the photos I was going to use, and when I started to put the layout together, Tracey's butterflies, brads, journaling blocks, etc just seemed so right!

I have printed the butterflies (google free butterfly images) unto the pp, but they were too dark so I used some pink chalk to soften them up! I have raised them up using 3d Foam pads.

I have stitched the flight of the butterflies.

Paint Challenge
For the title, I first printed the letters backwards on to copier paper, then cut them out, then traced onto naked chip board (if you buy a stack of papers keep the chipboard from the back and reuse like this), then I mixed some Jo Sonja's Brilliant Magenta and white Acrylic paint to get the colour I wanted, painted 2 coats, and then put glossy accents over the top!

For the journaling blocks I used the cardstock that I cut from the back of the photo, its never going to be seen, and anyways I needed it!!!

First I opened word and used an oval shape typed my journaling into the ovals, printed it out, then using masking tape, taped some white bazzill, just bigger than the print, over the top and ran it back through the printer, HINT: DO THIS WHEN DH IS OUT OF THE WAY, OR HE WILL HAVE KITTENS

I love how this layout out turned out, but a lot of the credit has to go to Tracey!!!!!

What I used
White and pink bazzill
Disney Princess PP
Brads
Mesh butterflies
Green embroidery thread
Brilliance Pearlescent Orchid Dew Drop
Jo Sonja's Brilliant Magenta Acrylic paint
White Acrylic paint

Song Title Challenge
Shanice I love your smile
When I was picking out the photos to use for this sketch, I said to DH that I loved her smile in these, and then when I was searching through the challenges on SB.com, I came across the Song Title challenge, and Shanice's song instantly came to mind, I had already used the title on the layout!

For those who don't know the song or can't remember, here is a little blast from the past!
