Cute Card Thursday ...

This week we want to see your cards that feature something nice and shiny. It can be Glossy Accents added to your image, or charms, metal flowers, mirror card, if it's shiny we want to see it!

And this is what I came up with, used another of my scrummy new WOJ stamps! I added a sliver heart charm and some sprays of pearls  for the Cute Card Thursday challenge ....

Challenge 146 - Out with the Old!

For our first challenge of 2011, we want to see you use up some old stash....papers, embellishments etc. It doesn't all need to be old, but we want you to use as much old stuff as possible. If you are anything like me you love using new stash, and the old stash sometimes get pushed aside.

(The stamp I used I have had for over a year and not used it!)

And here is the card that I made!  I made a Christmas card first this time as I forgot to make one last time!

And here is the little girl birthday card that I made using the same criteria, something old (I have had these paper for nearly 2 years) and more or less the sketch!

Tracey gave me the template for the card base, must really try and use different bases rather than the same old boring ones!

This week we want to see your cards/projects that feature flowers, gorgeous flowers. Stamps, fabric, paper...there are so many options.

So I have combined the sketch I designed for Running With Scissors sketch challenge found here and the Cute Card Thursday Challenge.

I have used one of the beautiful stamps desgined by Elisabeth Bell for Susana’s Custom Art and Card Design - EB for SCACD Sampler Edition 2 this wonderful stamp is called Latte.

I designed the background cardstock myself, using a stamp from Papermaina stamp set - Boutique, by stamping the ornate scroll randomly around the edges of the cardstock.
