An Easter Card ...

I usually don't make cards for Easter, but I haven't been in contact with my Aunt for a while and I thought that this might be a nice surprise for her, it was supposed to be a Thinking about you card, ahh well

I have followed a sketch on Magonoila Vs Stampavie challenge blog.

I have kept the card very light in colours, and I have used pastel papers that I brought from the US over 3 years ago now. The flourish has been traced onto vellum cut out and inked up. The Happy Easter Sentiment is a "PEEL OFF", I am beginning to like these, as the word and saying ones are just so versatile and they are always to hand, I go this one from Running With Scissors!

And yes I know Tilda should be holding a lovely bunch of mauve lilacs but I wanted to use some Spring colours so I choose yellow and orange, she has been coloured in with Distress Inks. The flowers are Prima and the brads are Woodware, the ribbon is from Boyes.

Only 2 wedding cards and a 2 birthday cards to go ......

Beautiful card. I love the Tilda isn't holding the expected lavender or mauve lilacs. The yellow and orange is just gorgeous.
