Today Micayla sent me an e-mail thanking me for the card and paper bag book that I made for her cute little one, Emily! I had waited until I heard that all was fine before I made the book as I am superstitious and didn't want to tempt fate! So once I heard that she had given birth and the beautiful Emily was born, I set to and made the card and book! I like paper bag books as you can had little mementos or extra photos in the little pockets between the pages!
All my paper bag books are made from scratch! I have bought a roll of Kraft paper (brown paper to you and me) and measured and cut the size I wanted. Then I turn a little flap up on the top and bottom and secure it in place by dipping my finger into to some PVA glue and rubbing it along. I then prick holes and hand sew all the edges! That's why my books take forever, lol
The following photos are in order, so I am not going to write a description as they are self explanatory, but if you wish to know how I have done something please ask!
Looking at the pages now, I think the black is too black!
OOPs, I always include a CD on the back page for extra photos to be added, but took the photos and then remembered that I hadn't put the CD in and then typically me, forgot to take a photo, lol

That's one real treasure Helena and made from scratch as you say, truly unique. I don't think the black's too black myself btw.
