Birthday Card

Its my nephew's 4th birthday!!! So I made him this card!!!

Had to take the photo inside, blah it's raining!!!!

I printed the animals off the net (they were free to use for personal use), used my watercolour pencils to colour them in, as you can see some of them smudged due to the printer ink and them not been stamped, live and learn!!! I stamped some flourishes around the outside of the matt, and inked the edges, stuck it onto some cardstock and then stuck the animals down, used a white pen to write the message!!

I am not happy with this card but I needed to get it off, and it was 2:30am when I got it finished.

I will be trying something like this again!

Stash
Papermaina blue cardstock
Images from the computer
Watercolour pencils
White Sakura Gel pen
Tim Holtz distress inks - black soot and faded jeans
Inkadinkado stamps - Floral Flourishes

The inspiration was found from a fantastic blog I discovered!
Go check out Stempelglede Blog owned by Gunhild Johanne G. Bay, even though she is Norwegian she translates everything she does to English, how sweet is that!!!!! This blog is worth checking out and I am sooo going to do these flowers

aren't they amazing!!!! She gives a tutorial on how she made them!
