BBC2 - Three Favourite Quotes

This was a hard one, as I have lots of fav quotes. I managed to pick 5

A child fills a place in your heart you never knew was empty"

May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields,
And until we meet again,
May God hold you
In the palm of his hand."

There are good ships, and there are wood ships, the ships that sail the sea.
But the best ships are friendships, and may they always be.

A red sky at night is a shepards delight
a red skyin the morning is a shepards warning

May you be rich in blessings, poor in misfortune,
Slow to make enemies, quick to make friends.
But rich or poor, slow or quick,
May you know nothing but happiness from this day forward.

As you might of guessed some of the sayings are Irish sayings!!!

My the road rise before you is one of my MOST used Helena! I think it's lovely and have used it on lots of different occasions.

I also like this one (Irish again)

May those who love us love us.
And those that don't love us,
May God turn their hearts.
And if He doesn't turn their hearts,
May he turn their ankles,
So we'll know them by their limping!

Great quotes! I'm a quote fanatic too, so I'll make sure to add these to my quote file.
