BBC - Blog about me and a photo!

Oh gosh, this one I wanted to skip, I hate having my photo taken, I hate seen myself in photos, I only like cameras when I am behind them! Okay about me (I also hate talking about me) So I gritted my teeth and here is a very short piece .....

I am 35 years old, married to a fantastic man, with two beautiful children! Chloe 12 and Aimee 5!
I have one brother. I skipped the last few years of school and I am sooo regretting it now! I went back to college last year! I have completed a 12 week course in working with children, a childminding course and just this May finished off a one year course 2 months early. This will help me qualify in looking after children in a school setting! Which I am doing at the moment, and I absolutely adore! I have just signed up to do a 2 year course in Child, Care, Learning and Development, at the end of this I will be able to go on and do a degree!!!!

I love to take photos, it is because of me at the age of about 9, that there are albums full of photos! I have now found the most fantastic way of keeping memories and images alive SCRAPBOOKING!

My taste in music goes from Dolly Parton to Madonna, Elvis to Mika, Boys to Men to Bon Jovi, so there isn't a particular type of music I like, I like everything if it appeals to me!

I have had enough talking about myself!!!

Here is the dreaded photo!

Yeah, I am not looking forward to doing this one either, but your photo is very nice and it is nice to get to know a little more about you! Thanks for sharing and good luck with your courses!

That's a lovely photo Helena and you should not let your phobia get in the way of having them taken, you need to leave a legacy of pictorial, as well as written and 'held in the heart' memories for your girls so's they can pass all this on to their children in time.

So pleased you've enjoyed your course and have enrolled on another one - bringing 'life skills' and experience to learning often proves more productive than doing it when you're not attuned to it - so, although you may regret your earlier decision, all things happen for a reason.

Likewise, with talking about yourself - we are all like diamons, multi faceted and it doesn't hurt to show your different facets and your sparkle! I bet you love hearing and reading about others and how they have grown to be the person they are. We can all learn from one another.

Come on out of the closet and SHOUT OUT!

(Blimey, that got a bit philosophical didn't it!)

Well I love the photo I think it has captured your spirit and the lovely twinkle in your eyes that I have seen in person when you talk about the girls or get excited about a project, so well done you on capturing the essence of who you are. and I admire you so much for the steps you have taken to enter into further education ,following the path I know you will be perfect for, I am proud to have you as a friend XXX

Hi nice to know you. I think the picture looks good. I don't like taking pictures either, I guess most people do.
